NEW TV SHOW ABOUT A DRAG RACING FAMILY (1 Viewer)

This could be interesting:

Katey Sagal Will Star in a New CBS Comedy Pilot About Drag-Racers
By Emma Barrie
It'll be a single-cam.

Sagal will play the matriarch of the family. Its been a while since Sagal has done a half-hour sitcom, but she's had a lot of practice playing the mom in comedies, including both Married With Children and 8 Simple Rules. Oh, and she's also accustomed to playing houses, as she played a house in the Disney Channel original movie Smart House, a fact that is irrelevant here, but keep in mind: She was a very smart house. Written by Dan O’Shannon, Robyn Butler, and Dan Hope, the pilot will also star Swoosie Kurtz and John Carroll Lynch.

'Bogan' is Aussie slang for redneck. The Aussie version is almost ready to premiere Season 3. Great show - lots of laughs.
Hope the US-version does it justice.

I just watched 4 episodes of season 1 of the Aussie show...super funny :D Some harsh language which probably won't make it on the air here depending on which network picks it up. Also, the family races a Top Fuel team which is very cool. What's not so cool is the dubbed in sounds from a car that is definitely NOT a Top Fuel car :(
