Great audio clip John, thanks. What an awful deal George Bryce has been dealt thanks to a "I'm not having fun, see ya" notice of Scotty Pollacheck in the 11th hour.
Even worse, is the deadline NHRA had to enforce. It's bad enough his driver left unexpectedly, but to be told yes you can run your second bike with the intern, to no, you can't.....dang. Now he's running one bike for this race.
Karma has been paged, and hopefully will arrive soon.
Good interview as always John. Will you be giving Scotty the opportunity to respond. As we all know there are always two sides to a situation like this.

Yep. Talk about tarnishing your reputation and damaging your future marketability to sponsors.
Keeping your commitments when you aren't having any fun is a big part of what defines a person's integrity.
Can you imagine how much money and effort on Star's part it took to get Scotty to 6th place? Then all of a sudden he isn't having fun during a Professional Championship chase so he picks up his toys and points and decides the next sandbox over looks more fun.
Do you think anybody that won a Professional Championship had fun 100% of the time? Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Peyton Manning, guys like that are grinders. The reward & fun is in the success, the daily grind is what gets you there.
