Kudos to Phil for Issue 1 of the next generation ND. I loved the large format images(good to see the photo department getting big play). I like the feature content would like to encourage more sportsman coverage. Many of those guys have compelling stories to tell.
I understand that print anything has a monster challenge to stay relevant. I think the publications people at NHRA understand what they are up agains and I give them props for pointing the aircraft carrier in a new direction very quickly.
