Network Sportscaster Charlie Jones passes

Sad to hear that Charlie Jones has passed away. I know for sure he worked with Steve Evans and Don Garlits one year covering the US Nationals in the 90's for either NBC or ABC. That was they year everyone was anticipating a yet-to-happen 300 mph run. That was also a special race for me personaly, because my buddy Wayne Bailey from Michigan went down there with his patchwork top fueler and he "somehow" qualified... AND managed to "somehow" beat Gary Ormsby in round one!

RIP, Charlie ~ tell Evans & Wayne we miss them !
