Count me as shocked to read this. Maybe this will be the start of something big and good.
Wouldn't surprise me if the JEGS event moved to Norwalk, if it does indeed go anywhere. Mr. Bader is usually on top of things and I could see him getting it moved there.

Funny the calendar shows NHRA chassis inspections and the JEGS events, Maybe this is why the new PS Coughlin went with Summit ?? He knew there was a change coming ? JEGS is going to go IHRA ? at least sponsor some IHRA events.
JEGS isn't the JEGS of old.
With apologies to Shakespeare...."tough times acquaint a man with strange bedfellows." The lousy economy of the past four years have been tough on the speed parts industry.
So, another article I read and didn't save said a lot of this announcement was pure speculation as nothing has been signed yet. It has been proposed and is in the works but not finalized. Sounds like someone jumped the gun with this announcement. National Trail still shows NHRA inspections and all of JEGs events listed.
When I run out later I will drive by and see if there is any new signage being it is a mile from my house.
