On a hot autumn weekend, the Muscle Milk A/Fuel Dragster team showed some much-needed improvement at the NHRA Fall Nationals, located in Ennis, Texas which is just south of Dallas. The race is part of a ten-day festival called the "Stampede of Spreed" which also includes concerts and other featured events.

Madison qualified in the 16th position and took on Mike Coughlin, from Dublin OH, in the first round. As the lights came down, both drivers had identical 0.040 reaction times as they left the starting line. The cars were pretty close to even as they raced down the Texas Motorplex's all-concrete track but at the finish line, it was Coughlin scoring the win. Coughlin rang up a 5.20 at 277 MPH to Madison's valiant 5.26 at 279 MPH, which was her best run of the event. "We showed a lot of poise and improvement this weekend. It was our first time in the twenties since Brainerd" Madison said.

Next, the team moves on to Phoenix this coming weekend for an NHRA Regional event. "We are excited to race in Phoenix. We have done well there in the past and we have a lot of good data from previous years so I'm sure we will run well" Madison added. Madison and team owner Duane Shields would like to thank their sponsors Muscle Milk, GRP Connecting Rods, NGK Spark Plugs, Clean Boost, and Brad Anderson Enterprises for their continued support in 2024.
