Richmond - Madison Payne in the Muscle Milk A/Fuel Dragster qualified well among a tough field of East Coast competitors at an NHRA Regional event in the heart of Virginia. Madison qualified second with a very impressive 5.19 at 275 MPH.
By virtue of her qualifying position, she faced Dan Dietrich who qualified seventh with a 5.38. As the lights came down on the Christmas tree, Madison was able to get off the starting line first but ran into traction problems and had no choice but to abandon the run. Meanwhile, Dietrich was on a decent run and moved on to the second round.
Next, the Muscle Milk team travels to Dallas, Texas for the NHRA Texas Fall Nationals, October, 12-15th. Madison and team owner Duane Shields would like to thank Muscle Milk, NGK Spark Plugs, GRP Connecting Rods, Brad Anderson Enterprises, and Clean Boost for their continued support.
