Never could understand nhra event spectator parking fees. Indy was $10 in recent years but this year it was free. Norwalk has never charged anything. Then you see other tracks charging $20. This adds up. Especially if you are attending multiple days.
when I went to Ennis a few years ago I parked right off 287 for free. Next time I went I had to park down the road just west of the place and had to pay to park there. I don't know if the strip has any control over that parking
They have NEVER charged to park right off 287 next to the track except at one of those fly by night pro mod only associations a few years ago. I saw the signs stating $20 as we were driving in Friday morning and I was shocked. You think they could take the money they made off parking and fix the pits. What an embarrassment. Pro Stock and fuel cars had huge pot holes with cones everywhere so they didn't fall off in a crater towing to the lanes and then all the promods and alcohol cars parked in the dirt with more potholes and dust all weekend. Even the TV shots showed how bad the asphalt has gotten.
Even in Little Haddock's video he showed them moving the trailer as to cover the craters in the pit area.
Since the Government isn't buying the land Billy needs to fix the PITS.
