LAS VEGAS, October 28, 2006 -- Clay Millican just shook his head after four disappointing qualifying run in the ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
"Obviously, we just can't make our Nitro Fish/Team Koretsky dragster to make runs quick enough," he commented after failing to qualify Saturday for Sunday's event. "Mike (Kloeber, team crew chief) had our car running in the 4.50s last weekend. It seems like our car gets a virus when we show up at NHRA races."
His quickest run was 4.689 seconds at 311.05 mph. The bump spot was 4.628 seconds.
"It is very frustrating," added Millican.
