It seems awful strange that they didn't do an angiogram after his first visit. After hearing his story about the chest pain, it seems like they would have done it just to be on the safe side. Glad he's back to normal. I wonder if they'll have a third dragster to rent out to part time racers. That seems to be a lucrative business these days.

I agree. I find the article disturbing because of that. I am glad he was able to get the medical situation corrected before he encountered a heart attack will driving and risking his life and the fellow racer in the other lane.

I agree. The story disturbs me. I am glad he finally received the correct medical attention that was needed. It would have been tragic if he had experienced a heart attack while running the car down the track and hurt himself and his fellow racer in the other lane.

Thanks for pointing that out. I used to go on Comp Plus all the time, but since they changed their website ("If it works, fix it anyway") I don't go over there anymore. The new website is way too busy, too many pop-ups, and the new font is hard to read.

Back to Mike, I've seen him at the CA Hot Rod Reunion, and at the Nitro Revival. He walks around in regular clothes, by himself, just like he is a regular person. No entourage. I talked to him once at one of the Reunions. He likes drag racing history. I forget what I asked him about, but it was related to the Big Show. He spoke for about 10 minutes. I got figety because I didn't want to be taking so much of his time. But he seemed happy to chat with a fan.

Amazing that he went to several supposedly well-regarded Doctors who couldn't find a thing wrong with him. Makes you think.

I agree with you on Comp. Plus, it's too teenager busy! As for Mike, Glad to hear he's doing well and I have talked with him at Norwalk. He was very cordial and we had a real conversation about something not even race related.

Comp Plus made some changes to the new site. Much better.
