Mickey Ferro's Mission 'Vegas' Accomplished (1 Viewer)

Las Vegas, Nv -- Mickey Ferro and his RYCO Hydraulic Alcohol Funny Car Team
are experiencing a storybook finale to the 2010 drag racing season. His
team took home their fifth Wally in a row this past weekend at the Shortline
Express sponsored Lucas Oil Pacific Division 7 drag race in Las Vegas.

At the end of qualifying on Saturday, Ferro’s team sat in the 5th position
which paired them in first round against Jay Payne. Payne and Ferro have
been competing against each other all year, both seeking the same result,
Division 2 Championship and #2 in the National Points Championship chase.

“Every round at this race was huge” noted Ferro, “we didn’t get the data we
wanted for the first qualifier when shake forced me to pedal the car.
However, Anthony Terenzio is so good at reading the track and dialing the
car, we ran solid numbers for the rest of the event.

“Racing Payne is never easy. First round was a great drag race, both of our
teams put our normal 110% effort and it was a very close margin of victory
at the end of the quarter mile. That’s what drag racing is all about.”

Ferro extends a very special thank you to Brad Littlefield who handled the
bottom end for the weekend as well as to all of his crew, sponsors, friends
and family.
