Drag Racing Beauty, Angie McBride, picked up a few sponsors over the last three weeks and is looking to run well for them in Atlanta this weekend. Teaming up with Indicom Electric and Nitrofish for the Pro Stock Motorcycle rider’s third event this year, McBride has high hopes for her team.
Never running at the Commerce based track, McBride has all the confidence in the world in not only herself, but her tuner as well. Her Buell is tuned by 2007 Champ, Matt Smith and that could be one reason why she is so confident.
“Matt’s the best,” said McBride. “He has worked so hard over the last few weeks to get both these bikes ready for Atlanta. I am very excited to get there and get on the track. I know I have never run at this track, but Matt has and I have no doubt that we will both be running at the top of the charts this weekend.”
With new sponsors on board for the next three races, McBride knows exactly what she has to do in order to bring the big bucks on board for the remainder of the year.
“I am definitely going to have to go some more rounds,” said McBride. “We have run well so far this year, so I’m just going to have to keep it up and hopefully the permanent sponsor will come.”
McBride sits seventh in the Pro Stock Motorcycle Championship point standings going into Atlanta.
