<P> The Carolina Speed, Charlotte, North Carolina’s Professional Indoor Football Team, is proud to announce that they will sponsor NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle racer Angie McBride in her quest to become an event champion. The Professional Indoor Football Team will sponsor the drag racing beauty at the upcoming U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, IN as well as the NHRA Carolina Nationals in Charlotte, NC.

“Drag bike racing and indoor professional football bring an unmatched amount of excitement and fun to the fans, more than any other sport,” says Eddie Littlefield, Carolina Speed Owner. “I am proud to partner up with Angie and look forward to working with her in the future.”

McBride teamed up with reigning NHRA POWERade Pro Stock Motorcycle Champion, Matt Smith at the beginning of the 2008 season and with Smith leading the point standings yet again, McBride should not be too far behind at the next two races on the NHRA tour.

“I am very excited to be apart of such a great organization,” said McBride. “Carolina Speed is a very adrenaline pumped team, therefore they fit right in with NHRA Drag Racing. Indy and Charlotte are the two biggest races of the year, so it is an honor to represent them. I thank them for coming aboard and I hope to make them proud.”
The Carolina Speed will play their third season at their new home, the Cricket Arena.

The 2009 season tickets can be bought on line at CAROLINA SPEED FOOTBALL // FRONT PAGE.
