Who here thinks that the "Lucas Oil Northstar Nationals" has a better ring to it. Come on Forest and NHRA! Bring back the name that started it all in Brainerd.

Very true, you really couldn't use it during the Champion Auto days because the name would have been to long, but now it would sound great! I asked Forest about it in Bud Corner a year or two ago, and he just blah'ed it off.

I think all events / tracks / arenas should have real names - At least it's still Brainerd International Raceway and not the Lucas Oil / Nextel / Wal-Mart / insert corporate name here Motorspoorts park.

Some people think it might be lame but I always thought the Paul Bunyan Nationals would be cool for Brainerd-

I think Forrest has as good of time as anybody out there. He is out in the zoo every night, talking with fans, handing out Lucas Oil banners, and just seeing the sights.
