this year has gotten out of hand is just cruel, it's using up every minute to make it certainly miserable and a year to Forget because of all things going wrong (Economy, weather @ Races, terrrorism, deaths etc). 2010 NEEDS TO BE BETTER!

Lou did a lot of good for the sport and did a lot of out reach in the community. This is a big loss to drag racing. I think he was still racing jets up until recently wasn't he?

As sad as this is I know he was a devout christian so he's in a better place.

Very sad. The Sattlemaier altered was one of my favorite cars growing up in the 70's, and I remember him coming to my elementary school with his anti-drug program.
