Hopefully Bob can recover quickly. I wish NHRA would allow the points for Lindberg to count towards Tasca totals. In a special season like this I would hate to see a racer lose a championship due to the virus. He might be the first but probably won’t be the last.

FWIW, AHRA used to have a points system where the points went to the team. John Wiebe was leading points one year (maybe 1973) & had a crash (?) so couldn't run at OCIR. Warren-Coburn-Miller, James Warren, put blue contact paper on their car & had Wiebe's name on it. They won the race & The Weeb got the points. Someone has a photo of the car in that guise somewhere. Hadn't thought about that for years.
