Re: Lee Bearb's next gig?

Sorry Lance, but just couldn't help but to laugh at the thread title....Lee Bearb :D

And yes, this one does sound like a bit of a stretch, especially given Cruz and Danny's success this past year. Consulting Terry McMillan would definitely be in Terry's benefit!

I agree with you I hate to say it I don't think Terry would make a countdown without more talent. Top Fuel's top 10 performace bar is lowering, and next season for sure I would say dont look to finish in the top ten if you can not go at least at .81 normally in good conditions.

As far as Cruz, I just don't know, Beard comes in what is he really gonna offer, there puzzle pieces are there. Maybe he can help with the consistentcy, but other than that he's really not the guy to go there, all Cruz needs is to be more consistant. If Lee goes now you got a 3 tuner show, Cruz, Danny, Lee, I don't see it working. I think this is a temp job for Lee just to come in, look at the setup, help with being more consistant, and go.

Re: Lee Bearb's next gig?

Interesting.

Well I think Lee had a hand in Cruz's 92 Title, maybe they can get that Magic going again.

As far as Terry McMillan, They seem to have a good 500 foot tune up, but need some help getting it to live 1000 feet.

Bobby is reporting Dickie has been released from DSR...

Interesting.....seemed that when Dickie was hired to help out on Johnny Gray's car, that's when the perfomance really surfaced and they were going a lot of rounds. Oh well, someone will be lucky to have him!

Folks,

It's not a rumor. For the record, Dan started with Team Force yesterday. Scott Wible is also going, but I don't know when for sure.

I would not speculate on their duties and responsibilities as of yet, since that info is team business, which I am not privy to.

That's funny, one of my best friends is named Craig Bearb, so apparently I'm used to typing that...........:D Thanks Chris.

I guess it is true if Danny is over at Team Force now. Best of luck to all of them.

reminds me of cartoons when i was a kid . .a hallway of doors and people are constantly going in one door and come out another! lol

Good for Chris D ... he was a tuning revelation this season. He will do well at JFR.

It also must mean Cruzer's funding is solid for next season, which is also good news.

a few years ago these press releases didn't come till after the holidays;
this last week has revealed quite a few 2012 plans.
the jan. test @ PBIR last year almost seemed like a nat. event - suppose
the sponsors had just as well have their branding in place by then.

great news for cruz - somewhat surprised @ lee joining cruz, but you just
never know what the next deadly combination will be.
cruz runs within his means and almost wins the deal, now gets sponsor
extension and ability to hire veteran CC....
watch out for cruz & lee in 2012.
