Larry's Nova is a two time winner of Hot Rod Magazine's Drag Week. He's out at the PSCA meet in Vegas this weekend and was making some test shots tonight. He ran 6.99/194. This is a street legal car that he drove more than 1,000 miles in a week at Drag Week.

Holy crapola!

Larry is a chassis builder in Missouri. He built Mike Moran's car amongst a host of others.

A 1967 Chevy II....

(BTW- that's the car I was thinking about... Transition year for Chevy, right?)
It's a '66 (I can spot a '66 & 67 a mile away), '67 was last year of that body style. The easiest way to tell them apart is the grill. Headlight bezels are also an easy way to tell the difference between the two years.

Gotta feel for Coby R... 5.96- 244 and a -.001... Yellow and black is pretty intimidating to stage up against... especially when they go .001 at the hit
