Larry's Nova is a two time winner of Hot Rod Magazine's Drag Week. He's out at the PSCA meet in Vegas this weekend and was making some test shots tonight. He ran 6.99/194. This is a street legal car that he drove more than 1,000 miles in a week at Drag Week.

Larry is a chassis builder in Missouri. He built Mike Moran's car amongst a host of others.

It's a '66 (I can spot a '66 & 67 a mile away), '67 was last year of that body style. The easiest way to tell them apart is the grill. Headlight bezels are also an easy way to tell the difference between the two years.

A Mike Moran built turbo motor, twins on 565ci I believe. The car is nearly 100% steel as well. It even has steel freaking bumpers!

Here's video of the car hauling tail at Muncie Indiana on the last night of Drag Week 2009. It ran 204 on this lap, so the mph was down on the 6.99 pass!
