LAS VEGAS, April 15, 2007 -- Kenny Koretsky left the starting line first in the opening round of Sunday's SummitRacing.com Nationals but didn't get very far before the tires on the Indicom Electric/Nitro Fish Chevy Cobalt began to spin him to the left and right out of contention.
Eventual race winner Greg Anderson cruised to the easy win, 6.759 seconds at 204.76 mph to a coasting 13.164 at 64.92 mph.
Koretsky's reaction time was .021-second to Anderson's .033.
"I'm on my game at the starting line," said Koretsky. "Any time you are racing on Sunday is a good day. We are going to be testing to improve our ability to go down the race track consistently."
The team's next outing is at Atlanta, April 27-29.
