CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 29, 2008) – The Southern Ontario weather did not cooperate, and the eliminations for the Fourth Annual KC Auto Family Day presented by Paul Wolf Electric & Lighting Supply Inc., Osram Sylvania and Independent Electrical Distributors have been postponed.
The third event in the 2008 Pro Modified Racing Association presented by Torco Racing Fuels Ontario schedule will be held at a future date.
A record number of 18 Pro Modifieds came to the Cayuga Dragway at Toronto Motorsports Park to do battle, and while Saturday’s qualifying sessions took place, the heavy rains Sunday stalled any opportunity for eliminations.

Second was Terry Brown of Caledonia, Ontario, piloting his 1971 Challenger and posting a 6.225-second, 233.68 mph pass. Next was Mark Nielson of Brantford, Ontario with his 1968 Camaro and a 6.319-second, 231.75 mph run.
When the racing resumes, the first round of eliminations will pair Mike Stawicki with Jack Grainy of North Tonawanda, New York; Ralph Andreacchi of Maple, Ontario against Bruce Boland of Hamilton, Ontario; Brown with Larry Sinke of Welland, Ontario, and Nielson with Sam Andreacchi of Toronto, Ontario.
The next event on the PMRA tour will be the Fourth Annual PMRA Challenge presented by G-Force Race Cars, Grainy's Automotive and Niagara Auto at Dunn Tire Raceway Park in Lancaster, New York on Saturday, July 26.
