I think you hit the nail on the head Lance. Some just seek out flaws that people have and never look for the good in them. As far as the TV job not being easy, you're right. Back in 2006 at Columbus, I spent quite a while talking with Paul Page. Let me tell you, he is a really great guy. He explained how the broadcasts are done and how each segment is arranged. After he explained it I got a whole new respect for the guys in TV, it ain't easy. Something else about Paul, he LOVES Drag Racing. He said that he has been going to the U.S. Nationals as a fan since the 60's (as long as his work schedule would allow). Sure, he makes a mistake here and there but who doesn't. As far as "Vandergrith", how do you know Paul is saying it wrong on purpose. Is it possible that maybe he IS saying "Vandergriff" but it sounds like Vandergrith because of another reason. I don't know but maybe Paul has a problem with a tooth or something and it just sounds wrong? I say, WHO CARES? I know who and what he is talking about and I assume everybody else here does as well. Big deal, get over it. Paul Page is OK in my book.
