Josh Comstock

Wow, sad news!! Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. The commodity prices have everyone in the industry stressed out and we have been letting go of a ton of really good people lately.

As far as your funding question goes, I wouldn't be shocked at all to see it shrink even further if the prices don't rebound. There's a bunch of teams out there that have funding tied to the Oil and Gas Industry.

Wow . . . 46 - way too soon. If Comstock was the driving force behind the sponsorship money flow, I hope Bob got his money up front for this year. Appears that company C & J took over may actually be in control. If bean counters notice this, it could be bad.

Very much a shame. He loved his drag racing. Watching him on the starting line at Indy when Connelly was in the TF finals was his finest hour to me. The coolest part of reading that story is he started his own oil & gas company at 27 years old, not many can say that. Prayers to his family.

RIP to Mr. Comstock. It would be unfortunate if this affects BVR, but we should be thankful he was involved at all for as long as he was. Condolences to his friends and family, 46 is way too young and it must be a tremendous shock to them.

Sad to hear the news, but would any of us have known about this company or cared if it wasn't for their sponsorship of drag racing? Whoever is now in charge should note this.......

Bob, I'm sure the average NHRA fan has many oil and gas wells they need servicing so its very important we know their name. I know I did. LOL
