Memphis, TN - Red Hot Joey Martin, driver of the Tindle Enterprises’ GT 500 Mustang, has definitely made a turn-around in the AMS Promod Series, presented by RPM Depot and B.A.E. The Florida based racer and the T.A.R.E. (Tindle Ashley Racing Enterprises) team has managed to reach three straight finals, loosing to teammate Mike Ashley at the last event. Although the team didn’t have the best start, the recent hot streak has placed Martin second in points, only a couple of rounds behind Jay Payne.
This weekend, Joey “Hero” Martin is looking to continue this streak at Memphis Motorsports Park. “What can I say? Chuck Ford and the crew have provided the most dominant combination from round to round. It definitely takes talent to tune (2) Promods to identical elapsed times – two rounds straight,” stated Joey Martin.
After struggling earlier in the season, Martin and the Tindle Enterprises team are back in the swing, as they look to add to Martin’s career record. With their chances of claiming a Promod championship from second place in the standings and 123 points down pretty slim, their focus is on getting to the winner's circle.
"Our objective is to win races and that's what we need to do, and we're in a position to do that. We just have to go make it happen, stated Martin.”
