From the NHRA.com article....."Currently, plans call for Coughlin to compete in Sonoma, Seattle, and Indianapolis. Enders’ teammate, rookie Drew Skillman, will be sitting out the first two of those races, so Coughlin will be using Skillman’s trailer and team. By the time Indy rolls around, where Skillman is expected to compete, Coughlin will have his own trailer and crew."

Sounds like it won't be part time for long. Hopefully not.

On the TV interview Saturday, sounded like might be gearing up for full go next year. Wasn't said exactly but that's the impression I got

First of all, I think Jeggie is the best driver in any class in NHRA. If I was starting a team right now in any pro category, he would be the driver I would hire. BUT, I am starting to notice a trend with Jeggie. He seems to leverage his Jeg's money into the best rides in Pro Stock. When Maskin had the hot setup with Yates, Jeggie hired him away. When he fell out with Maskin, Jeggie kinda foundered with his own team for a bit then he went to DSR. He walked away for a bit, then Cagnazzi had the hot setup and Jeggie was there. Cagnazzi kinda slid down the grid a bit, Jeggie walked away. Then next thing you know AJ had the hot setup and Jeggie was there and then AJ kinda started sliding down the grid so he walked away again. Now Elite is the hot setup and suddenly Jeggie is grabbing a seat there. It's his money, it's another competitive car in the class which is good, and I am glad he's back, I just noticed a trend.

If there were more drivers with that out of sight talent coupled with their own solid financial backing, you'd see this more. He's just a rare combination of both.

I believe there's a term for that phenomenon called "Fair weather Friend". I'm like that with my local baseball team. If they are hot, my eyes are glued to the TV every night and if they are losing, I couldn't give a rats ass about them. Seems to be the Same with Jeg, If he does not have a top 3 car and not winning, he is not interested in prostock, yet if he does, he's all in. Of course, to be fair, Jeg pointed out that Elite called him for this short term gig, but I'm willing to bet if Jeg starts immediately winning again he'll be racing full time very soon, at least until the elite guys lose their combination and fall to the middle of the pack, and then the only team left, to hook up with is Greg and Jason :)
