LAS VEGAS -- After finishing in the quarter finals at the opener of the 2008Powerade Drag Racing Season in Pomona, Jeff Carroll and his Monaco Las Vegas / Hice Cellars Top Alcohol Funny Car Team is eager to compete during this weekends running of the Ninth annual SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals, the fifth of 24 events in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.

"Last year at this race, we qualified fifth overall and made it to the quarter finals", stated Carroll. "We're always working towards new and more improved ways for developing horsepower / clutch combinations and we feel that we've stepped up our program even more since last year".

"This is also the home track of Monaco Las Vegas, one of our sponsors.

So representing them again this year, along with Hice Cellars makes this event even more exciting for us to participate in".
