Mooresville, N.C., March 25, 2010 – NHRA Pro Stock points leader Jason Line will be the in-studio guest on this weekend’s edition of Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain. The show, which is broadcast from SPEED’s headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, will air on Sunday night from 9:00 – 10:00 p.m. (ET).
Line and his Summit Racing team have been the talk of the Full Throttle Drag Racing Series in 2011, scoring wins in each of the season’s first two races. Despite having back surgery only four weeks earlier, he opened with a stirring victory at the Winternationals in Pomona, California. The Troutman, N.C. resident then backed up that performance by becoming only the fourth professional driver in NHRA history to win three consecutive Gatornationals, holding off his hard-charging teammate Greg Anderson in the final round at Gainesville Raceway for the 23rd national event win of his career. Having moved into the Top Ten in all-time Pro Stock victories, the 2006 Pro Stock champion will now look to add to his lead at this weekend’s SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada.
