Salt Lake City, UT – The IHRA Nitro Jam event at Rocky Mountain Raceway is so much more than a Drag Race. The event marks the return of legendary racer and car tuner Dale Pulde. After a setback due to health issues, Pulde will be re-united with his War Eagle Nostalgia Funny Car and the track. This highly anticipated event has the whole team ready to rock and roll.
CleanBoost Oil driver James Day is especially pumped up for Pulde's return. “I can't wait to stomp on the loud pedal and make some noise," said Day.
Making noise is what the team is used to doing. The team is riding high after winning their last Nitro Jam event. They also recorded the first Nostalgia Funny Car run in the 5's at Brandimere Speedway.
The Utah Nitro Jam is also a homecoming of sorts for Funny Car sponsor CleanBoost Oil. The Utah based Performance Product company is thrilled to welcome Dale Pulde back to their home track. They are also very proud to be associated with the War Eagle Racing Team.
CleanBoost will be providing the oil for the War Eagle Team, but the track, the Nitromethane and the smoky burnouts will provide the healing power to Dale Pulde.
