I was watching my new Rush DVD (Snakes and Arrows Tour, Live) last week and I was thinking Neil Peart could never utter the phrase, "I'm a jack of all trades, but a master of none." Frankly, neither could Alex or Geddy, but their talents are often over-shadowed by Neil's. Anyway, it got me thinking, who else could never utter that phrase...

1. Neil Peart - Percussionist
2. Alan Johnson - Fuel Tuner
3. Lance Armstrong - Cyclist
4. Jeg Coughlin - Drag Race Driver
5. Michael Jordan - Basketball Player
6. Martin Brodeur - Hockey Goalie

The list could get extensive, but who would you add?
 
Have never been a Rush fan,. But my new AMA rag that just came out has a really good feature story about Neil Peart and his motorcycle riding.

Same here, since the mid-seventies... and it's getting harder to tell Julie's work from his... 30 plus pieces here in my office dating from early eighties to last season. Heavy Metal to Playboy, Movie Posters, "Fantasy Art Techniques" copyright 1985 with foreword by Isaac Asimov...
