Beckman, a two-time event winner last season while substituting for John Force, will return as a full-time driver for the first time since 2020. He previously won the NHRA Funny Car championship in 2012 and was the NHRA Super Comp Champion in 2003.
John Force, recovering from a high-speed crash that resulted in a Traumatic Brain Injury last June in Richmond, Va., continues to receive treatment. While he has made significant progress, he remains under the care of TBI specialists.

Reading the press release John made the comment that "don't think I'm done yet", or something equivalent to that. Those that have a severe TBI don't always totally recover. I hope John makes a recovery
But it will be interesting whether his doctor will approve him to drive again.
Hats off to Jack Beckman for getting the ride in John's car for all 2025. They couldn't have selected anyone better to represent JFR.
Haven't heard any word on Brittany in t/f for 2025.

“Beckman’s doing the job for PEAK and BlueDEF,” Force said. “I’m still going to therapy every week and working as hard as I can to get back out there with the sponsors and the fans in a sport I love, and I miss. I’ve still got a lot of things I want to do, so I don’t want anybody thinking they’ve seen the last of John Force. We’ll have a lot more to talk about after the holidays.”

IMHO I can't imagine Laurie, daughters and doctors letting him drive a nitro funny car again. Will be interesting to see what he says in the new year.

Bummer for what it means for John not getting to go out on his own terms but exciting for a full season of Jack

Good news for Jack. But, I guess all the broken elevators will have to wait. Or, does he jump into the phone booth between races to change uniforms and continue to work his other gig?
Yes he did exactly that. Their are videos and pics on social media this past year.

I bet he takes a year off??? Prob will have pr type things going on and racing. Be tough schedule if he continues to work, makes me tired thinking about it lol

knowing he'll get paid to drive for a year I suspect elevators will have to wait. I don't see it working otherwise.

I believe that statement tells us exactly what he intends to do. There's a reason he hired Jack Beckman to drive for him in 2025 - and while we're all saddened by what happened to John last year, I see JFR's future as making the best out of a bad situation. Indeed, I look forward to Force "getting back out there with the sponsors and the fans in a sport that he loves". ;)

John probably was not talking about getting back into the Funny. Hopefully will remain out there as an owner and as an icon.
What if he got into a Super Comp or A/Fueler to race with Autumn? Something he has always talked about

Nope. If he's not able to drive due to head trauma risk, there really isn't a race car that he should get into. JMO.
