.....since we lost Scott Kalitta. Whether you think of him as being a member of Shirley Muldowney's World Champion pit crew, the Austrailian Boxing Day Invintational Champion, two time Winston Drag Racing Top Fuel Champion, a Florida Gulf Marina owner, an airline owner, as a loving father and husband.... or just as "Eddie Kaladdee" who drove the mustard car....... he was a great guy and we miss him dearly. Check your watch - it's five o'clock somewhere!

I remember Scott when he was just a kid with his dad working on Shirley's car.
I watched as he grew into a Driver, and a dad.
I remember when he commuted nightly from National Trail to home every night because his wife was due any second.
The joke was he could fly home quicker then the crew could drive to there rooms.
I worked at Seaport Automotive in Toledo and we repaired a lot of blocks for the Detroit area Nitro cars, and he sometimes would bring a block in.
