A couple of sites have reprted that Pat Dakin's brother Mike, who has run A/FD before, is coming out to run TF at IHRA events as well as a few NHRA. He also expects to put his son Chris in the car. If NHRA would listen to some of the suggestions being thrown around, and some of the discussions by people posting here such as Virgil and Randy Goodwin, the future can be much brighter than many currently believe it can, as I think you would see more of this type of team coming out to play. And you know what? So what if we don't end up with a dozen or whatever new cars to run 24 races, I wouldn't mind seeing a bunch of new regional players popping up to fill fields, that way you end up seeing many different cars throughout the season, and better chances for surprise round and race winners.
