Indycar IMO is the #3 Motorsports behind NHRA, It lost its lustre when in the 90s IndyCar split into CART/IRL.
Well yeah, I appreciate the respect as a drag racing fan. So glad that he pointed out that our cars go 330mph in a straight line. But he also pointed out that their racing is in "traffic" and what their drivers do is amazing. I agree that it's amazing, however, even though drag racing is straight line, a funny car or an out of control pro stocker wants to go any place BUT straight. That's the great equalizer.
Indy #3? really? as much as I love drag racing Indy will never rank behind nhra or the roundy round guys.
Indy is the first motorsport and the greatest.

this phrase fits more than one series you knowOther than Indy, you wouldn't know the series was running most of the time, or unless someone gets killed! Then it is all over the news!
The Indy 500 is the only thing keeping Open wheel racing from going away! Other than Indy, you wouldn't know the series was running most of the time, or unless someone gets killed! Then it is all over the news!
Got that right! As much as the split in the `90s hurt their sport, they`re still light years ahead of NHRA in attendance and mainstream media exposure.
