How awesome is it that my dad, Rickie Smith is one of the four inaugural inductees to the Bristol Motorsports Hall of Fame.

The Legends of Thunder Valley include Wally Parks, Larry Carrier, Don Garlits and Rickie Smith.

Congrats to Ricky for a well deserved award. I grew up rooting for him in mountain motored pro stocks and am glad to see him back in the IHRA competing for the championship.
