And haven't seen the race shops on Northfield Dr in Brownsburg. You need to see them. I was in Indy last weekend for the AMA Dragbike race and it was my first time to go by there. It is worth the slight detour. Pretty impressive.

Easy too find. As you go out the main entrance, go left past Bruce Littons place and cross the tracks and you come to Northfield, It has a light. Turn right and there you are.

DSR has hosted an open house the last 2 years at least. I think HD did the year they opened thiers as well.

Does anyone know the times that DSR will have an open house this year and if any other shops will be doing it?

I just got off the phone with Don Schumacher Racing in Brownsburg...yes they are having an open house at Indy...and the info will be on their site soon. Don Schumacher Racing

26 days! :D

Yes, his place is on Northfield. As you get closer to town, Forces place is on a corner and Snake is across the street. Turn down there and there is Bernsteins, Ashleys Pedregron brothers, etc.

JFR is also doing a and car show on Thursday as well as the Grand Opening of the Indy Race Station. It on his site just scroll about halfway down,

John Force Racing

bummer, I wont hit town until Friday am, guess I'll miss the Force one

Can someone explain to me what the "Indy Race Station" will be exactly?

Is it a sort of home base since a majority of the tour is run in the east and Force Racing is based in the west? Will it be a full blown shop?

That actually brings me to another question. Do most teams head home to where they are based for a couple days and then set out from home for the next race? Seems to me, the logistics for this could be next to impossible some weeks, particularily during the western swing.

We go that way every year. Pretty neat!!! Now the new interstate exit is open near the track, so who knows if we will keep doing that.

Justin,

What exit would that be? Is it off 74? I always go the old way off 465 then down that long ass 2 lane road. It there a better way?

The Race Station is a souvenir store. There is one in Yorba Linda as well. JFR has had a shop in Brownsburg for a few years now. But it has never been open to the public. This will be the opening of the store, and a first chance for most fans to see the inside of the shop. There will be a big car show as well,
