If I were Kenny Bernstein, I'd be thinking...

InBev is suredly slowly destroying an American institution. It makes me sick. Having grown up in Missouri and having seen the influence of AB on the entire states economy in years past...it is sad to see what InBev has done in order to "streamline" the brewer. They must have gotten a discounted ad agency to produce this years Superbowl ads...they all sucked!

I'm casting my vote the only way it will count...never buying another AB product and telling people why.

That is why I switched to Coors, tastes better to me anyway.

They Do Not Care! when asked about them dropping Kenny and the NHRA they simply said You must be a " Drag Racing Fan" everyone in the room started laughing. They are looking for marking towards the younger group. They are moving thier money to Table Tennis, Lacross and Soccer. After paying back a large amout of the loans back, by selling the parks, can plant and lid plant they are looking to sell off a brand and possibly one brewery to persue Pepsi. Believe me that some of the remaining managers notice that the sales are down and loyality is near nothing.

I think KB had a fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime run with a great sponsor. As has been said, nothing lasts forever, in this lifetime 30 years is probably as close as you can get in most scenarios! Instead of arguing about value, ROI, and such, we need to find a way to rethink professional drag racing, because huge, multi-year, multi-million dollar deals have never been easy to get, are extremely hard to get now, and we may never see the floodgates open like what happened in NASCAR years ago. So, instead of waiting "for things to turn", I think the best thing to do would be to come up with a formula for these cars that reels in the operating budgets needed. That would make the job of securing marketing partners much easier, and the pool of candidate companies much bigger.

I quit drinking Coors when they quit sponsoring Pasterini, but tried it again after this KB deal, it isn't as good as Bud in my opinion so I guess I will just have to ween myself out of it slowly. (Can't do Miller either after they left drag racing). Just my 2 cents.

Rick, who says you have to drink ANY of those beers? I know, you want to support a company that sponsors drag racing, and when they got out of it, you switched your support to another brand (if you liked it) of beer, but don't hesitate to try another brand of beer on the shelves if you really like beer. Can't think of any brand ;) to suggest but try out some of the smaller craft brews out there if you want to drink a good beer. And there are many American owned brands that qualify.

Wow, all this talk about beer, sponsors and advertising. If I were KB I'd be thinking "I've been a professional drag racer for 40+ years winning championships and setting records along the way, and now I own my own team with my son driving for me. My life is awesome."

O.K.--I'll try all the American beers available. If I'm still alive by next week I'll let you know what I think. I enjoy this kind of R&D. It's hard, but someones got to do it, and I am just stupid enough to be that someone.

Im not a big fan of alcohol but over the last year have noticed alot of american brands show up in stores down here in new zealand. Bud being one of them. I personally am a coca-cola drinker myself have been for a long time will be for a long time.

Boulevard Brewery out of KC has a line of beers that covers every palate. If you can get it in your area, give it a try. The wheat beer is very popular. When I worked at fundraising events, the Boulevard stands outsold the others each event. I know you can't get it everywhere, but they are trying to market it coast to coast. It takes a lot of time and money to do that.

The Official Beers of Coney Island USA give it a try!!

I am now drinking Sam Adams myself. Pretty bad when a sport such as ours can't even keep beer sponsorships.

where beer & alcohol companies want to be.
bacardi is teamed up with the black eyed peas world tour hoping
