BRAINERD, Minn. -- It took Justin Humphreys two words to describe his Sunday performance in the opening round of the Lucas Oil Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway.

"It stinks," he said after suffering a red-light start against Jeg Coughlin. Humphreys missed a perfect start by .014-second but did run his quickest time of the weekend, 6.64 seconds at 206.54 mph to Coughlin's 6.663 at 206.54 mph.

"I'm going to have to change the way I do some things," added Humphreys. "But the good news is we have a good race car now. The new motor Roy Johnson built is unreal. Now we'll just get ready for the Reading race."

The next POWERade Series stop is at Maple Grove Raceway, near Reading, Friday through Sunday.
