I hope they seriously pay attention to what people are saying in regards to their telecast and it being one of the better ones.

I watched all of Sunday, a little of the noon coverage on Sunday (Was at the track), and all of the evening coverage and I was amazed at how much better it was than the other crap they have put on in the past.

PP is getting better but Mike Dunn is hands down the man. I really enjoyed the behind the ropes coverage this time because they had really good interviews and insight instead of the "wrench cam" or whatever they have tried to do in the past.

I was digging through some boxes in my basement this past week, trying to convert some old VHS to DVD, and ran across really old races from back in 90-91 (man those were cool to watch over again) from TNN etc...THAT was really good coverage back then and I hope that someone within ESPN, NHRA or something is trying to get these folks back to what that was like.

Paul Page is doing better. It's hard for me to complain about him after listening to David Hobbs talk about petrol, gear boxes, and al u min e um for years.

After watching the H-O-T Danielle Peck- :p sing the National Anthem, and they lit the first pair of T/F cars, I was saying to myself, Paul please don't say anything until after the burnouts- Then- RATS!!

The show was great- :D

Right on Ray, I have been asking for the National Anthem from ESPN2 for some time now. I was hoping they would pan from the skydiver landing down to the cars getting lit without talking over it.

ESPN2 great job! Very pleased with the whole telecast. You folks did great!
We rip you guys a new one every week here, but I hope you folks know we also want to thank you for a job very well done.

Loved very much all the old footage shown, the interviews, the going straight to the source of rumors, the Anthem, everything!

Wonderful job guys, thanx for all your hard work!

do-------do doo--------do do do do dooo-------do doo------do-------do doo-------do,do,do,do,doo......... ;):p
If I cursed...

:D

It was good. There were some old interviews, and I got tired (like anyone) of hearing "What do you think of [explicative]?"

But the coverage was still great. And the old '67 race thrown in there was awesome! I could watch that stuff all day.

I'm telling you - that commercial REALLY bothers me. Not only is the "woMAN" sick looking, the song is annoying. I expressed my feelings to them politely in the e-mail, telling them that it was severely overplayed, and that we raced to mute the tv or change the channel for the moments it was on. :D

This is the broadcast we should've got - instead, the broadcast we got Down Under was an absolute disgrace. 1hr of qualifying, including ALL of PSB, and 2hrs of racing. Missed out 1st round of all the Pro's and most of 2nd round. I didn't even know Force didn't qualify till the semi's in FC  - and this is the biggest race of the year. Poor effort ESPN Pacific .........

Mark.
