I saw them run 6.386 @221.63 and 6.337 @225.45 last night; two nice, clean runs; their 6.13 at Famoso is one thing but this was on a Summer Arizona night at 3075 feet above sea level! Unfortunately they were Bakerless this weekend; however, it was still very cool nonetheless
So who was driving Tryon? One of the Generalao's?
Ok great, so like what else went on? Who was all there? How'd the Gruzen clan fair?

Did the Strange Brew go up against the Mercilous?
I was afraid I couldnt deal with the heat, so Im counting on you now for a report, since this is the only news I can find!
One transformer blew the motor other hit the wall.........
Damn racers cant tell you who won if it wasnt them lol.
Tim B qualified 2 in the Mercilous, Dave G qualified 4th.
Tim broke the throttle cable, and Dave had to shut it off.
Im sure someone can fill in more of this.
Crowd was great as usual for this event, all in all heard everyone had a great night!!
All the Classic Fuel Altereds did a great job. The show went off smoothly with out any major down time. The fan response was great. The track was in great shape. The staff said it was the best crowd of the year.
Our Arizona Thunder Fuel Altered went right down Broadway to a 6.47 @ 223Mph the first pass. We went back and tuned it up with more nitro in the tank and went to the line against Nanook. We left good and had to lift about 200 feet out when the front wheels were need for steering purposes. Got back in it and ran a 6.96 at 206 Mph and Nanook took the win. A Great time was had by all and we would like to thank SIR for putting on this race. It was great to see the standing room only crowd on the final round!!
