The National Guard Pro Mod Sponsored team led by legendary Pro Mod Tuner Jim Oddy rolled into Martin Mi. for the ADRL/Pizza Hut 4th annual ADRL Summer Drags at the Knoll Gas Motorsports Park.
On the heels of victories at the first two ADRL events, Houston and Valdosta, Team Rage driver Josh Hernandez leads the point standings by almost 500 points in Pro Extreme. As Hernandez states, " I would rather be leading than not, but we have a long way to go and the team is just taking it one race at a time. Josh also states that the consistency that the team is experiencing comes from Crew Chief Jim Oddy. Oddy breaks it down even more, " Dave, Josh and the rest of the team are just taking it one round at a time and they are doing a great job with it; its easy and exciting steering this ship".
Oddy, holding a Pizza Hut pepperoni slice in one hand, said that "its exciting to have national sponsors, such as Pizza Hut and the National Guard supporting ADRL and our Team; and plus Martin Mi is also special, because our Co-Owner, Tommy Lipar is from the Grand Rapids area & has family there, so its almost like a homecoming, so what I am saying, if the weather cooperates, it's gonna be good times this weekend".
Team Rage won in its only other appearance at the Knoll Gas Motorsports Park back in 2006 at the IRHA Northern Nationals, so success at Martin is not a stranger to the team.
Team Rage would like to thank all the sponsors for getting us here: The U.S. National Guard, Pizza Hut, NKG Spark Plugs, Permatex, VP Race Fuel, Inter-linc Mortgage, RedLine Oil, Hoosier Tire, Dallas National Insurance Co, Richmond Gear & Mechanix Wear.
