this was always my favorite car,but i never mite john tell the nitro revival show.i got to bs and ask a lot of questions for at less a 1/2 hpur ,what a cool guy.
just saw the nitro revival is being moved to nov 7

was there ever a die cast or model of the freight train? nothing on e bay

I never remember a model of the Train. That would be cool. There are some super model makers out there who can create anything out of scratch. Just looking on google, model cars, and 6 gazillion photos come up. I used to build models when I was a kid and gave them all away. Wish I had them now. heh

I did see the Train crash at Lions. He was about 3-400 feet down track & it started going side to side & over it went. Arghhh

remember Frakes & Funk and didn't Jim Bucher have a twin motored Top Gas car?

if I remember correctly Shirley had a twin engine top gas car, didn't run bad

There were a lot of great twins over the years. I still remember the Train (Quincy Automotive back then) racing Two Bad of Dye & Hampton at San Fernando, 1962. First time I'd seen twins & they race each other. Wow.......

I think these drivers drove the car well. Other drivers other than Floyd were Goob Tuller who drove the car when it was much shorter did a great job at the wheel. "Wild" Bill Alexander, and Billy Scott drove the car at some point.
