No sound , no touch (rumble of the engine), no smell . Electric cars remove 3 of the 5 senses from a drag race..... I`ll pass.

It's all good fun, and the electric racers do run well, but given a choice between equally performing cars I'd choose the one one that goes waaaaaaaaah shift waaaaaaaaah shift waaaaaaaaah.

I'd probably pass on the car, but I thought the HDs were sorta cool .... that said, I also like riding my V Rods.

Hard to get the Revs up on a 50% length cord

Electric cars are very fast and watching the wheel stand was really cool.
It sure would solve one problem for drag strips that have a noise problem and in many ways, it may be the answer for survival in areas where there are drag strips to close to homes.
