Hemi shootout win reversed???? (13 Viewers)

I saw a youtube video with a random guy who was @ Line's car pit and was saying that both finalist had been DQ'd. I thought it BS but maybe there's something to it. I looked to see if I could find anything but couldn't.

that tech barn is there for a reason. with the AFHS in place, and apparently all classes.
i'm not a big fan of the ruling pertaining to STK and SS, but i understand it.
you get in the late rounds @ indy, and it's suddenly a discussion of money and potential sponsors.
i like the ruling splitting hemi money with all competitors.
video by herb's son is a class act

We were tossed for one Venturi being .008 to big of rules. There are 8 Venturi in two carbs, the other 7 were actually small, Do you think we did this on purpose. Yes we should have checked them before we left but Jason was thrashing hard for the last two weeks just to get there. Everything else on engine that actually makes power passed complete tear down. It was our fault and rules are put there for a reason and we take complete responsibility! Sorry to our fans, but this is just going to make us work that much harder. Why wouldn't they average all venturis? As long as the total area is on spec or less then this shouldn't be an issue at all. Seems like they need a rule change to factor this in. If 7 were below size and one only .008 larger than it wouldn't be any performance advantage.
