[coverattach=1]Medford OR - Doug Hegge went all the way to the winner’s circle at the final Division 6 Lucas Oil Drag Race Series event of the year at Champion Raceway near Medford Oregon. It was his first ever win in NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster competition.
Hagge, of Vancouver Washington, drove his Roku-Brightsign A/Fuel dragster over Justin Davis in an exciting final round match up that appeared to close to call from the starting line. “We just front halfed the car which gave us a tuneable race car that we had been struggling with for the past two years” Hegge said after getting the victory.
Hagge would like to thank Roku-Brightsign, Total Impact Impact Apparel, Spitzer Composites, Radford Trucking, his dad and very dedicated crew for all of their support this season.
