Heckel signs Goodridge Hoses & Fittings for 2007
LA PORTE, Texas - Current NHRA B/Dragster National Record Holder Shane Heckel has announced the signing of Goodridge Hoses & Fittings as an associate sponsor for the 2007 season. Heckel will use Goodridge's XF-900Smoothbore hose and fittings in his quest for the Division 4 title.
Heckel, who helps run the family businesses, HHH Car Ports and Ballistic Race Craft, in La Porte, Texas, is excited about the newest addition to his 200 mph dragster.
"Heckel Racing is proud to have Goodridge Hoses and Fittings on board with us this year!" said Heckel. "On top of having a great performing product, I believe they are they safest and best looking hoses on the market, bar none. We will do our best to represent Goodridge Hoses and Fittings in the winner's circle."
Chuck Westcott, director of motorsports for Goodridge, is also excited about
bringing Heckel to the growing list of racers utilizing Goodridge's line of
hoses and fittings.
"We're very excited to bring Heckel Racing into the growing list of top caliber drag racing teams running Goodridge Hoses and Fittings," stated Westcott. "We feel Competition Eliminator is a good market for us because it's a class where every little bit counts. We feel Heckel Racing will be a great representative of the edge we can provide."
Heckel will make his 2007 debut at his home track of Houston Raceway Park for the Division 4 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series opener, Feb. 16-18.
