THANKS everyone! I just came out to Mater to post an "I'm b-a-a-a-c-k" note, and what do I see but Jenn's Happy Birthday Jackee thread. Thanks so much! Another day older and deeper in debt I guess, but it's good to be on this side of the grass! ha!

Not quite ready to go out and kick up my heels just yet, but soon. HA!

Thanks Bobby! I actually am still in shock at how well I'm doing so soon after surgery.

Oh yeah, I never did post that 'Im back' thread, did I?

For those who may not know, had my right hip replaced Friday morning, was gotten up within 6 hours and walked down the hall in the hospital, and back, and was discharged Sunday Afternoon! What a hoot! I can't get over what a difference between this hip and my left one I had done 9 years ago. I've taken so little pain medication, I can't believe it. Had Physical therapist in this morning, and tomorrow I finally get my first shower. I can't wait.

I plan to drive myself to my follow up appointment next Thursday. While most orthopedic surgeons dont even want their patients riding in a car, mine says whenever I'm ready. Since I'm not much for hanging out at home, I hope to be ready by then.

Thanks again, everyone, for your Birthday Wishes. I have2500 emails to sort through, so I'm not sure I'll know if there are other May babies out there, so let me wish everyone who is having a birthday this month....
