Score the ham lightly, I usually carve "Jenn made this" on it
In a heavy roaster pan pour about 1/2-3/4 inch water on the bottom of the pan. Mix in about 3 ounces bourbon. Place ham in pan with the fatty side down. and pour syrup over in. Put in oven at 300-325 and baste in juices every 15 minutes or so. When you take it out, leave it covered with a lid or foil for about 15 minutes. The sauce left over in the pan can be poured over individual slices.
