Great Article about Terry Chandler

Great article! Thanks for sharing Robert. So, you're looking for a pilot Terry? Where can I send my resume?:D

That's a lady who is doing a lot for the sport we all love! She is obviously thankful for all she has been blessed with. Just makes you wonder where we would be this year without those two cars.....

I love her! She is always on the starting line with her car, and always smiling, always geared up in team colors. A genuine enthusiasm for this motorsport. Drag racing is lucky she's in.

Erin and I were privileged to spend some time with Terry. We just wanted to thank her for all she does, but it turned into more than that. While she loves racing, she will tell you it's all about the children. That being said, a few comments about her brother and T.J. cracked us up!

Now I know why Terry and her Husband own the Airport Concession in Carlsbad . They need it to keep up their airplanes . LOL
Growing up there in the sixties when Dick Harrell was a popular local boy gone Funny Car racing and making a name for his self spurred many of us to love drag racing and fast cars .
We are indeed lucky the Gray's and Chandlers are involved in our sport .

Great article in Autoweek. Certainly must be nice to have the money to have the 3 planes they have. They have somewhere in the neighborhood of $40-$50 million in those three planes. I wonder if people like Fast Jack who lives in SoCal flies back and forth to the races commercial or one of her private jets. They certainly would be a nice way to go.
I suspect that the only one with more planes is Doug Kalitta with his charter service. Would expect him to use one of them to get back and forth to the races. Certainly Connie does, can't imagine him flying in a lowly commercial airliner.
