As my sister stated we'll be there,I just wonder If NHRA Is doing anything special because It's the 40th annual gators?

Yea it's a little early :D But we will be there again...... we are going to do the JC camp ground this year.

That's crazy dude.
I absolutely hate the 1000' ft change and was going to go to Sebring instead but guess what? This is the first year in a long time the two races are not on the same weekend. I'm sure I 'll end up going now.
It's more than a race after 12 years in a row. I just need to be there.
Pissin and moanin about the short race track for sure,,,,maybe I 'll roam the pits while the fuelers run and make sure I see the top alky cars for a change.

I'll be there in TEC.. To think, the 40th Gators has to be run at 1000'. The dang shutdown in g-ville goes all the way to Ocala.

please answer these banal question from a uk dragrace fan hoping to make gainesville..........can you pay entry on the day? are sat/sun ever sold out?can you get a seat in the stands if you don,t pre-book. is it extra payment to enter the pit area. i have waited all these years to visit and now it,s 1000 yards. still, the noise and vibration are still there ( say yes) cliff..

Cliff, one year I wasn't sure I was going to go on Sunday and then after qualifying Saturday I decided to stay. I bought one ticket Sunday morning and I was down in the first row and couldn't see sh8t. I was very sorry I didn't buy that ticket ahead of time. If you are coming all the way from the UK, buy your tickets ahead of time. I mean , you probably won't get shut out, but still.

And yeah sit near the starting line and the short track won't be so noticable.

cliff, gainesville can get pretty busy it would be wise to get reserved seats in advance. its probably second to indy in attendance.

Cliff, unless you are a fence stander get them now it does not matter what side you choose now that they have put the walk way inside the fence to go to the pits.
PS if you need a room pm me one just came available.
