Drag Racing Online had an interesting tidbit about the new Full Throttle TV advertisements. I saw one during Sunday's broadcast and it was great. The DRO note had a link to the others in the series. There is one featuring Prudhomme that is great. My fav is the one titled "The Faces."

These are great spots...the b/w is really beautiful and the soundtracks rely on anything but car sounds...Snake's voiceover on his spot, but mostly music you wouldn't equate at all with racing...strings, or that incredibly dreamy Chris Isaacs Blue Moon...and everything in sloooow tempo...very cool, very neo-retro. My fav, however, is "Good Morning"...it's amazing. Drag racing is as American as America gets...

These spots will do a lot to attract first time viewers.
